This appointment is intended for you if you are primarily interested in finding out how high your energy requirements are, for body fat reduction, muscle build-up or generally to find out how high your resting metabolic rate is.
The measurement takes place sitting and at rest using spirometric respiratory gas analysis and takes about 15-20 minutes. The measurement provides us with information about your energy requirements at rest (resting metabolic rate) and how high the proportion of carbohydrates or fats is in the energy supply (carbohydrate and fat metabolism). The entire measurement result is then compared with standard values of people of your age and sex and gives you an idea of how well your metabolism performs overall.
